“Composite doors fitted free all as part of our service”, is that not what all the advertisements say, but what does it mean and how good will that “fitted free” service be?

Timber Composite Doors do not advertise free fitting for the simple reason that it is not free it is included with in our price, a subtle difference perhaps, but we believe that transparency is what our customers want, no hidden extras, we know we provide a quality door and we also know that the quality of fitting can “make or break” the appearance of that newly installed door.

A quality installation service should be one that is fully comprehensive from survey to customer sign off ,we offer  a service that includes a full survey and installation you do not even need to know your exact dimensions (if there is a problem with your door choice our surveyor will advise you)

“A Survey that will in most cases will be completed within 48 hours, the provision of a new composite door of your choice and full installation. “Not a man in a van service” high quality installation. Timber Composite Door have a partnership arrangement with an installation company who operate throughout the UK and are nationally known, massively experienced authorised service providers to the Insurance market. We are so confident of our installation service that in addition to our twelve  year product guarantee we also offer a five year installation guarantee  and yes we do come back if something breaks, sticks etc. Timber Composite Door as part of the GFD Group of companies are also members of the DGCOS and offer as part of the installation service a  free DGCOS Consumer protection policy with every order (The Double glazing & Conservatory Ombudsman Scheme)  With this DGCOS cover not only is your deposit secured but should any concern arise with your door or its installation you have the peace of mind of knowing that the premier consumer protection agency in the fenestration industry will be protecting your interests.”

When we install a door we take due care of our customers property we remove all of the fitting debris (including the existing door), we thoroughly clean the whole work area and only when the customer is totally happy do we request that they sign a Sales / Installation document.

The next time you are looking for a door in a DIY store or on a web site and you see the sign saying “fitted free” ask yourself which you really prefer a “free fitting service” or a Timber Composite Door fitting service which provides you with all the assurances and security of knowing that it will be a job well done and your newly installed door fitted the Timber Composite Door way will be one that you can be proud of for years to come.
