Not all of us here in GFD HQ were old enough to see the great man at his peak but through the magic of the movie news reels there can be few of us that have not sat in wonderment at the amazing boxing skills of Muhammad Ali.
Whether you loved boxing or hated it everyone had an opinion about Ali in the beginning many voices spoke out against him but with his charm charisma wit and phenomenal boxing skills he eventually won over all but a very small majority.
For those of us who actually witnessed Ali box live (on TV) saw him rage against the system (on TV) and watched some of his wonderful interviews (on TV) the memory of the man will live with us forever – the legacy of Ali’s quotes and sayings will pass into folklore for all to remember and learn from they did not all refer to his sport – but when he talked boxing there is one quote which everyone knows–
