Mr C appears to have a plate of biscuits and a glass of milk \u2013 milk and biscuits indeed \u2013 is this the way to sustain the man who brings joy to millions worldwide and what about the poor reindeers \u2013 there is not a carrot in sight. This is indeed taking political correctness to a new level substituting milk for sherry is understandable if small children were to view this video \u2013 but even they understand the tradition \u2013<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Mince Pies, Sherry and Carrots for the reindeer <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Tradition must have its place \u2013<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Disappointed of Dulwich \u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We checked out the video and yes we are messing with tradition and we apologise wholeheartedly to <em>\u201cDisappointed of Dulwich\u201d<\/em>. \u201cHeads will roll\u201d particularly the head of the individual who proofed and approved this video.<\/p>\n<p>It took us a couple of takes to discover the error of our ways &#8211; but we have reproduced a still -see below -and although we could possibly argue that they are not biscuits but very flat mince pies \u2013 on the subject of the other two errors we stand \u201cguilty as charged\u201d it\u2019s definitely milk not sherry and as for the carrots we could argue we left them outside because reindeer are not allowed in the house \u2013 but we do not think anyone would believe us.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/194318523?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/194318523\">Timber Composite Doors Christmas 2016<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/user30011980\">Timber Composite Doors<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\">Vimeo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As you would expect in a company that considers itself as professional as ourselves this issue has caused a lot of heartache \u2013 how could we get it so wrong \u2013 but we have thought long and hard and we believe we have a response that will even pacify purists such as Mr Disappointed of Dulwich.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.timbercompositedoors.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Marital-Status.jpg\" alt=\"marital-status\" width=\"720\" height=\"510\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We did a little investigation into the census reports of 2015 and came up with the fact that at that time there were almost eleven million households\u2019 families with children in the UK<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>which means eleven million sherries and mince pies \u2013 and as every Christmas morning the mince pies plate and Sherry glass are empty it can only be Santa Claus who has enjoyed the feast<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Eleven million sherries are rather a lot for anyone let alone Santa who of course must be subject to the same \u201cdriving laws\u201d as the rest of us \u2013 imagine the scene after say house number 7,345,926<\/p>\n<p>Sleigh and reindeer waiting in the garden \u2013 Santa falls off the roof, rolls over looks up and sees the flashing blue light as a voice booms out \u2013<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow then Mr Claus are you the driver of this sleigh and have you perchance had a small drink tonight? Maybe you should just blow into this bag for us.<\/p>\n<p>You can just imagine the lead story on the news on Christmas Day \u2013<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSanta fails to deliver millions of presents as he was breathalysed mid-way through his delivery round.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Surely that would be much worse for the children of the world than our little indiscretion in breaking with tradition so we have composed the following response to Mr Disappointed of Dulwich.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026<\/p>\n<p><em>Dear Mr Disappointed of Dulwich,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Please accept the apology of all at <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timbercompositedoors.com\/\"><em>Timber Composite Doors<\/em><\/a><em>, we were indeed in error in the breaking of tradition with our portrayal of Milk and biscuits rather than Sherry and Mince pies \u2013 we ourselves are very much traditionalists when it comes to Christmas so we can appreciate your viewpoint.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>However, in our defence and that of the individual who approved the video (and is now no longer with the company) we would request that you enter the phrase \u201cmilk and cookies for Santa\u201d into your web browser and review the image results \u2013 it would appear that there are rather more than just we at <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timbercompositedoors.com\/\"><em>Timber Composite Doors<\/em><\/a><em>, who have wondered away from tradition.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Further much as we all like the odd glass of Sherry the consequences of drinking eight million of them may be rather extreme even for a gentleman as portly as Mr C and his subsequent ability to drive a sleigh could be quite badly impaired \u2013 milk provides a far better alternative.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In the interests of wholesome family viewing of our video we believe that Milk is an adequate substitute for sherry \u2013 however when it comes to Rudolph and the gang going hungry we have no excuse and will probably at some time in the near future have to suffer a herd of reindeer rampaging through our offices<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Truly
