And we do not mean to Christmas \u2013 as Major Tim blasts off on his real space adventure the rest of us are waiting for our fix of fantasy the excitement is rising as it gets closer by the hour \u2013 anyone who has read our blog through the month of December can be in no doubt of what we mean as we have been running our very own \u201cStar Wars Door Fest\u201d.<\/p>\n

Wherever we seem to look at the present \u2013 TV or Press everyone seems to be obsessed with the opening of \u201cthe Force Awakens\u201d now that it has finally been premiered in Las Angeles the one thing we all need to know is \u2013 is it any good \u2013 of course it is according to the Independent \u2013 twitter has gone through the roof \u2013 and the verdict \u2013 \u201cyou will leave the cinema smiling\u201d \u2013 can\u2019t wait.
\nBut what if you are one of those very rare creatures indeed in the western world whose interest in Star Wars is precisely NIL \u2013 where can you actually go to avoid all the furore the good old BBC has wasted some more tax payers money and conducted a survey of \u201cHow to avoid The Force Awakens\u201d and yes the answers are pretty obvious \u2013
\n\u2022 Move to somewhere remote or maybe just the parts of the world that are not gripped by Star Wars fever
\n\u2022 Do not go to the cinema
\n\u2022 Do not mix with crowds
\n\u2022 Stay in bed and read a book
\nEtc etc etc \u2013 makes you wonder why they bothered but it is a BBC speciality conducting a survey to state the obvious.
\nHere at GFD HQ the one thing we know for certain is even after our \u201cStar Wars Doors\u201d like the opening of the movie \u2013 becomes a thing of the past \u2013 we will not be hiding, fading away or running for cover \u2013 they may no longer be \u201cStar Doors\u201d as per Star Wars but we will still be marketing the same superb quality Solidor Doors here at Timber Composite Door<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
