Love him or hate him the \u201cGreat British Bard\u201d Will Shakespeare certainly had a way with words \u2013 and geography \u2013 and architecture \u2013 and the fenestration industry; in many instances tying them all together in one of his plays, or even setting more than one of his plays in the same city. Verona must have been pretty much up there as a favourite city as he set three of his plays in this beautiful city \u2013 Romeo and Juliet, Two gentlemen of Verona and the Taming of the Shrew, imagine if he had combined them ????????<\/p>\n
WORDS, GEOGRAPHY AND FENESTRATION<\/i><\/p>\n
A callow youth stands in a garden and calls to a young lady above \u2013 \u201cBut soft! what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Juliet is the sun. Arise, fair sun and kill the envious moon, who is already sick and pale with grief\u201d the start of a love proposal that goes on a bit from there.<\/p>\n
Eventually Juliet has her say, pretending she cannot see him commencing with the immortal words \u201cRomeo, Romeo where fro art though Romeo\u201d<\/p>\n
Unfortunately the words of both Romeo and Juliet are somewhat drowned out by the sound of a bit of a \u201cdomestic\u201d coming from the house next door ,with a lot of shouting and commands being issued<\/p>\n

Passing by on the opposite side of the street are \u201cTwo Gentlemen of Verona\u201d who are making their way to the magnificent \u201cArena\u201d where they can already hear the opening strains of Aida rising above the open air amphitheatre. They raise their eyes to the balcony and discard the scene above, one turning to the other and remarking \u201cSee Juliet\u2019s professing her love again\u201d his companion meanwhile looks at the house next door and mutters \u201clooks like Petruchio and his wife Katherine are also at it again, they reckon he is trying some form of \u201cmind games\u201d to change her character to turn her into the obedient wife\u201d. Very quickly he returns his gaze to the home of the Capulet\u2019s (Juliet\u2019s house) \u2013 where something impressive had caught his attention \u201cLook at that, that\u2019s new and rather special\u201d<\/p>\n
